Baby Fry started taking swimming lessons this month. We have taken her swimming quite a few times, but I am one of those moms who always makes her wear her life vest even in the shallow water and then I tend to hover around her to make sure that nothing happens.
Christopher always tells me that I am going to have to let go sometime and let her do things on her own so when I heard about this lady who teaches swimming lessons I figured that she should probably learn sooner rather than later.
The first day of the preschool level class went well. The teacher had all the kids in the hot tub and even Baby Fry's friend (and fellow Sunbeam) Brooklyn joined the class. They learned how to hold their breath and put their faces in the water and blow bubbles. They learned deep sea dives and dead man floats. (odd names, but it was cute to watch)

Baby Fry is super tall and she quickly realized that she could touch and stand on the bottom of the hot tub and from then on she didn't really want to try to do Superman Dives and would just put her feet down on the bottom. Baby Fry did love going under the water and holding her breath to try and get the toys off the stair in the hot tub. She loved to throw them in the water as well.
The teacher decided to take her and one other girl from her class into the big pool and started working with them on their Froggy Swims and their Superman Dives. She told me that Baby Fry is a natural in the water and that she wouldn't be surprised if she was swimming in no time. The teacher also told me that she was moving Baby Fry to the level 1 swim class. Not sure where she gets her love of water from, but its a good thing.
The second day of swimming lessons was her first day of the level 1 class. Baby Fry did awesome! She could swim underwater Froggy Swims almost half was across the pool before grabbing on to her teacher. Her teacher told me that she might even put her on to level 2 soon she just needed to work on her breathing and making sure that she does not open her mouth while she is underwater.
Baby Fry loves her swimming class and keeps asking me when she gets to go again. She gets a total of 6 lessons over 2 weeks and so we are excited to see how she does towards the end of the session. Id love for her to know how to swim on her own you know you can never be to safe especially around the water.

MY FAMILY!!!

We Are A Happy Family!!!!

We just had new family pictures taken and I think they turned out AWESOME!!! Having 3 kids has been CRAZY, but I think that its going to be a fun adventure. We now have Kadence Rebecca (aka Baby Fry) who just turned 4 in April, Harmoni Taralyn (aka Baby Q) who just turned 1 in May, and our newest addition Braxton Christopher (aka Baby Ice) who was born just this past June. I can not believe that we have 2 girls and a little boy. At times there is a lot of crazy going on here, but there is also a lot of love in this little growing family!!!
